Special Podcast Event
We are excited to feature a special podcast event at our conference led by Dhruvaite Upmanyu, a high school student who previously attended this conference through our outreach program. Dhruvaite is now launching a STEM podcast focused on applied research in science and engineering, with the goal of making research careers, discoveries, and professional journeys more accessible to high school students.
The podcast will highlight conversations with conference participants about the work they do, explained in ways that younger students can understand. In addition to learning about current research, the interviews will also explore how scientists and engineers chose their career paths, the different options available in STEM, and the many ways personal interests can connect to research and professional growth. This perspective is especially meaningful Dhruvaite also serves as the leader of his school’s American Chemical Society chapter and is eager to share these insights with other students who are curious about their futures in science.
As part of this event, short video podcast interviews will be recorded on site using portable equipment, creating an engaging way to share the excitement of the conference with a broader audience. This is a wonderful opportunity to showcase not only the cutting-edge science presented at the meeting, but also the people behind the research and the stories that inspire the next generation.
We warmly invite all conference participants to take part in the podcast event. Whether you are a professor, researcher or student, your experience and perspective can help inspire high school students who are beginning to imagine their own paths in STEM. Join us in supporting this outreach effort and helping make the conference even more welcoming, visible, and impactful through these conversations.
Thank you,
